Fish Report for 5-29-2011
New Hogan has spotty fishing just like the weather
5-29-2011
Bruce Hamby
Unsettled weather has made the striper bite inconsistent. One day we will have a 3 fish day, all falling for shad, and the next will be a 7 fish day, all taking anchovies or herring. The bass are scattered throughout the lake, in depths surface to 30 feet deep. We have tried using different Pro Cure scents to help trigger more strikes. Water level remains steady at 68 degree temperatures.
Jason Marlow and Charles Webb of Salida, Ca. had a great day battling fish on Ultra Lite tackle, their largest fish was 7 pounds!
