Crowley Lake Fish Report 06-02-07

Pat Jaeger
I have not been on the lake....the report is from the Troutfly....June 2,2007 The fish are on the move from place to place every few days and even throughout the day . . . hot . . . slow . . . hot . . . slow. The north end, which was one of the hot spots a week ago has slowed out around the stream channel but is still producing along Green Banks from Barts Bluff down almost to the weather pole. Today the best spot was about in the middle, but tomorrow. who knows. Sandy, McGee and Hilton are pretty thin as is McGee but wherever you go, try in a little deeper water like 12-15 feet, or even fishing 13-15 down in 16-20 ft water. I'm out there chasing them daily so if you see me (white and blue 22 ft center console with robust gentleman on the bow and Honey, "Queena da Marina", large Golden Retriver trying to bite midges out of the air) stopped more than 30 minutes come on over. And, if you want to actually meet the owner of the Trout Fly, other than in my office on the lake, I am pulling two shifts, Thursday and Saturday afternoons this summer. Come by and let's talk about the lake , what else!
