Pat Jaeger

Flows have been jumping around the last few weeks. The current flow now stands at 128cfs....but can change any second(link in my site). The water is in excellent shape...NICE AND CLEAN AND COLD.The fish in the first mile have been getting pounded. We spent many days on the water since the opener(the last weekend in April....the OLD opener)as you know the water is sadly going to be punished year round due to new DFG regs as of last March 2007. The fish have been holding there own...we hooked alot of fish with lip stick (red lips due to been hooked before but no dead fish yet...the fish have been HOT and full of life. the hatchs have been mixed up...midgey in the morning...Beatis hatch around 12:00 noon and some caddis afternoon...things will get better..hope the water stays over 100cfs...we dont fish it under 75cfs...come up and fish before the water gets to warm....
