The Salmon are still being caught near the Soquel Hole and Davenport in 250-300 feet of water. There were a few 2 fish scores near Davenport and 3 Trees at 36'54/122'09. The Soquel Hole was good for some and slow for others today. The best reports came from 36'50/121'57 to 36'50/121'59 where anglers had 1-5 fish a boat. The anglers who kept working the big bait balls with the Whales were rewarded. You have to be patient because there is a early bite and a later bite when the tide changes around 1:30 pm. The most consistent depth that the Salmon were biting was from 65-110 feet down trolling. The best lures were the Watermelon Apexes, Purple Haze Kajikis, Glow Krippled Anchovies, Blue Hoochies, and Watermelon Krocodiles. The Salmon are big so be ready I heard of broken leaders and rods today. The Rockcod fishing was good at Ano Nuevo and near Davenport in 80-100 feet of water. There were a few nice Halibut caught near the Mile Buoy and near the Lighthouse in 40-60 feet of water.
