Silver Lake Fishing Report
10-16-2010
Andrew Jones
Fishing has continued to stay steady with several nice size trout coming out and countless stringers full of stock able size trout being caught. We have also started to see some very nice browns come out of the lake and Rush creek this week. in the lake they have been doing very well trolling Olive Matukas, Black Wooly buggers and tasmanian devils; frog pattern. Still fishing from shore and a boat has been doing well using worms, Salmon Peach or Garlic Power bait and flipping a Thomas Buoyant or a Needle Fish. This weeks best fish was a nice 2lb 4 oz Male brown taken from Rush Creek by Butch Heller of Phelan using baby night Crawlers. Good Luck as the season starts to come to an end. Happy fishing:)
The Silver Lake Resort is a full service resort in June Lake, CA. We offer accommodations for fisherman throughout the trout season. We have cabins for all size groups, an RV park, a Cafe with fabulous food and a general store to meet your needs. If you would like to book a trip to Silver Lake call them at (760) 648-7525.
