While there was a week of sustained dorado catches, the bite came to a screeching halt and the fishing reverted to the doldrums format of weeks gone by. The overall combined fish report for 19 offshore fishing days reflected 3 striped marlin, 2 sailfish, 1 mako shark and 7 dorado.
Mazatlan Climate: Mostly sunny and warm days with intermittent passing clouds and temps that ranged from 61 nights to 84 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Good water temps and clarity that ranged from 72 inshore to 75 offshore and wsw surface winds to 12 knots.
Best Fishing Area: None reported as the boats fished a wide area.
Best Lure/Bait: Slow trolled rigged mullet were the best bait producers for the week.
