The first white marlin of the season was taken aboard the Pescadora III by anglers from the Ost-McCarty charter party, and their catch was rounded-out with a king mackerel, a dorado, 2 red snapper and a single triggerfish. The overall combined catches for 16 days fished reflected a billfish per boat day average that included 1 white marlin, 15 sailfish, 3 wahoo, 7 dorado, 3 yellowfin tuna, 8 red snapper, 6 triggerfish, 1 mojarre, 6 grouper, 1 king mackerel, 1 Atlantic barracuda and 2 bonito, a 12 fish variety for the week.
PM Climate: mostly cloudy days with warm temps that ranged from 75 nights to 89 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Excellent clarity and water temps that remained at a stable 80 degrees throughout the area.
Best Bait: Continues to be the rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo.
