Trout action was fair to good this week with anglers using Power Bait ( garlic, chunky cheese, rainbow and chartruese) inflated night crawlers doused with attractant, jigs and lures to catch good size, near two pound trout. This week the bite was slow to start with best bite after 10am. Hot spots included the pump house, the northern and eastern shores of lake 3 and the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week:
Nick Perez of La Puente, caught a 5 lbs rainbow on a white L'il Lip Ripperz while fishing the northern shore of Lake 2 near the bridge.
Kirt Khalil of Adelanto reeled in a 2 lbs 11 ozs trout using salmon peach Power Bait from the eastern shore of Lake 2.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
