We are getting some nice rain over the weekend!

Bass are starting to move up at Lake Casitas in the shallow waters and starting their beds. **Sight fishing for spawning fish is available now through May (most productive is earlier in the season for this type of fishing). This is a exciting way of catching, because you can watch the Bass take your bait!
March dates that are open for reservations, 7th,- 9th, 14th-18th Monday the 22nd, and 30th and 31st. Day light savings is on March 14th both morning and afternoon trips are available.
April dates that are open for reservations, 2nd, 6-11th, 18th-20th the 23rd and the 26-29th.
Other guides and boats may be available, call ahead for your reservations.
Here are three deer grazing and lounging around on the banks of Casitas. We are trying to snap a photo of one of the 3 Bald eagles that have made Lake Casitas home.

We and are clients are looking forward to the live shad coming up in mid April witch are the bass's favorite!
