Anglers reported good trout action despite all the stormy weather. Trout were hitting Power Bait ( especially spring green, orange and salmon peach), night crawlers inflated and doused with attractant, jigs and lures. Lots of limits went out with most trout near or over two pounds. Hot spots included the eastern logged shore and western shore from the pump house to the bridge of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week: Barstow angler, Jennifer Cheek, reeled in a 4 lbs 1oz rainbow using Green Garlic bait from the eastern shore of lake2. Jerry Young of Apple Valley scored a 5 lbs 8 ozs trout on a Mepps to limit from the eastern shore of lake 2. Daniel Mantooth of Victorville caught his 13 lbs 11 ozs catfish on guts near the bridge of lake 2.
