We are only three weeks away from what many feel is the kick off to the fishing season in southern California. It's the Fred Hall Fishing Tackle and Boat Show at the Long Beach Convention Center March 3 through 7. That will be followed two weeks later with the Del Mar Fred Hall Show March 24 to 28. This year, as with previous years, we will be broadcasting Let's Talk Hook-up live from the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Hotel on March 6th and 7th. We invite you to join us in the lobby of the hotel for this annual event that features lots of great prizes and plenty of special guests. The Fred Hall Shows always sets the stage for the upcoming season, and there will be plenty to talk about as the water warms up.

This is a great weekend to listen to Let's Talk Hook-up this Saturday morning from 7am to 9am. Pete Gray will be out on a family trip, but Rock Cod Rick Maxa will be in the XX studio with Doug Kern from Fishermans Landing Tackle .
