If there was ever a signal that we are going to have some type of El Nino event this summer, this week of storms was certainly an indication. There is certainly no local fishing to reports, but it certainly has us excited for the possibilities of what could come this summer. Book your trips, get your boat ready, because it is looking more like a warm water event is on tap.

The fishing highlights this week were from the long range fleet. The Independence hit the Point Loma Sportfishing docks today with an impressive load of big tuna. You heard all about it from Captain Jeff Dubois on Let's Talk Hook-up last week, and several anglers braved the rain to see this incredible catch.
