Anglers reported good to excellent trout action on both lakes this week.
Trout were hitting Power Bait ( especially rainbow, salmon peach and spring green), night crawlers, jigs and lures. Hot spots included the eastern logged shore and western shore from the pump house to the bridge of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week:

Jaysen Vincent of San Bernardino caught a 3 lbs 5 ozs trout from the western shore of lake 3 on rainbow Power Bait.

Henry Jacobs of Norco reeled in a 3 lbs rainbow on a silver Kastmaster while fishing the western shore of lake 2.

Ken Fellows caught his 3 lbs 3 ozs rainbow on a Power Mouse ( orange Power Worm/spring green Power Bait) from the eastern logged shore of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.

This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
