Another fun-fishing week at Puerto Morelos that produced a wide
variety of mixed fish catches for the anglers, reflecting a better
than 6 fish average per boat fishing day. Seems like this are
continues to offer the smorgasbord selection of small game fish that
family fishermen/fisherwomen enjoy. It's good catching of mixed
species and action. Always something going on here. The overall
counts for 21 days fished reflected 28 grouper, 16 red snapper, 8
triggerfish, 1 wahoo, 1 amberjack, 14 Atlantic barracuda, 46 bonito,
2 yellowfin tuna and 13 king mackerel.
PM Climate: Mostly cloudy but warm days with temps ranging from 65
nights to 82 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Temps remain stable at 81 degrees and excellent
clarity with light surface breezes.
Best Bait/Lure: The rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo continue to
produce 99.9% of the catches.
