PUERTO MORELOS FISH REPORT, MARINA EL CID, CANCUN TO COZUMEL AREA


Another early season sailfish helped to bring in the end of the year for one happy angler. In conjunction with the sailfish, the grouper bite was up this week and the overall wide spectrum of mixed variety was again reported. The overall catch report for 19 days fished reflected 1 sailfish, 17 grouper, 4 red snapper, 1 shark, 10 triggerfish, 4 amberjack, 6 yellowfin tuna, 35 bonito, 3 sierra, 4 king mackerel and 17 barracuda. Puerto Morelos continues to provide a wide variety of mixed fish in their daily fish reports and this week's action reflected a 5 fish per boat, per day average.
