Royal Polaris - Yellowtail Action

11-2-2009
Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone; Weather today was just perfect, with flat seas, clear skies, and sunny. Billy gave an in-def seminar this morning, going over everything our passengers need to know for this trip. Once Billy was done, the crew went right to work getting everyone ready for battle. We made a few stops for some Red Rock Cod for lunch, but to our surprise we caught some Yellowtail as well. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 18 to 25 pound catogory. We are now headed for points south, and we will look offshore tomorrow, so wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew. \\\"BeNt RoDs FoR LiFe\\\"

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

The tuna were a mixed grade but the majority of our catch was in the 25-30lb class. Our weather today...... Read More

Today our fishing was a bit slower, with only a scratch. The quality was excellent, but the numbers were just not what we were hoping for. The Yellowfin were in the 60 to 90 pound range, but the Yellowtail were in the 25 to 30 pound range. The Wahoo are excellent quality, with most going...... Read More
