Things Turn Around

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone; Weather continues to be excellent, with a slight breeze, clear skies, and sunny. We have just enough wind to keep the kites up with balloons. Today our fishing was a bit slower, with only a scratch. The quality was excellent, but the numbers were just not what we were hoping for. The Yellowfin were in the 60 to 90 pound range, but the Yellowtail were in the 25 to 30 pound range. The Wahoo are excellent quality, with most going over 40 pounds. Once the sun started to set, Roy made the decision to make a move. So we pulled our anchor and we are now headed east. We will try our luck on the ridge, starting tomorrow. So wish us luck, and we will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew. \\\"BeNt RoDs FoR LiFe\\\"

Most of the Yellowfin were in the 50 to 75 pound catogory, with a few going to...... Read More

Roy Rose is at the helm this trip. After Roy gave his safety seminar, then Willie Leung (Hi\'s Representative) gave everyone a gift bag. There was a drawing for some Costa Del Mar sun glasses. Lucky anglers were Bill Pargee and Jay Christensen. With the early departure, we should...... Read More
