The fishing for Salmon was good for the anglers who worked the Soquel Hole. The bite was decent in the morning but when the wind the wind picked up in the afternoon the fish went on the bite. The best area was from 36'51/121'58 to 36'50/122'00. The fish are feeding with the bait balls so look for the birds and the dark colored water. Please check your line on your reels and leaders because the fish are Big! I weighed in 25-34 pound fish all day today. The Salmon are being caught on the troll and the mooch. The best depth was from 40-120 feet in 280-300 feet of water. The Salmon were biting the Purple Haze Kajikis, Green Kajikis, Glow Green Krippled Anchovies, Watermelon Apexes and Krocodiles. The water was nice in the morning but there was some afternoon wind. See you in the morning for new line for your reels and some fresh Seagaur Leader.
