Bayside Marine
The Salmon bite was good for some and slow for others near the east edge of the Soquel Hole. The scores ranged from 0-5 fish a boat trolling Krippled Anchovies, Apexes, and Kajikis. The best area was 36'49/121'56 and 36'48/121'55. Most of the Salmon were caught from 120-180 feet down on the troll. The water was flat in the morning but there was some afternoon wind. The same is expected for the next few days. The Monterey bite was slow with a few fish being caught early. The best bet is to fish out of Santa Cruz.
