Anxious and excited was the vibe this morning as we approached our destination for our first day of fishing. It's almost like the fish we just waiting for us to arrive. Quick half lap was all we needed to locate a nice school to drop the anchor on. From 9 AM to 5 PM it was non stop "every bait is a bite" kind of fishing, talk about a hot start to the trip. Grade of the Tuna fish was just as advertised, 70 percent 50-80 lbs 30 percent 20-40 lbs. Nothing short of fantastic! BIG Yellowtail also made a showing though not for long. We will be camping here tonight. Our main objective for tomorrow morning is to target Yellowtail til at least mid day before deciding where to next. We'll see what the day brings.
