Mike Lawson
Since the weather has cooled down, it has really picked up. Hopper fishing has been productive. We like to use the pink Thunder Thighs size 10 and the More or Less Hopper in both Tan and Orange size 8 and 10. Sometimes it works really well to trail a small ant or beetle off the back of the hopper. With the colder weather, the brown trout are starting to get aggressive so pulling a streamer isn’t a bad idea either. My go to is the size 6 olive hen saddle matuka.
