A little bump on the passage north reminded anglers that we were indeed upon the high seas. A fact easily forgotten on an ocean becalmed we certainly relished in the comfort and convenience of conditions during the past week. Now gone it illuminates the rarity of such a prolonged period of perfect conditions. Taking the change in stride all passed the time in relative comfort as scenic miles passed by. Many thanks to this fantastic group of anglers and Chartermaster Ross Myers for the shared good fortune and good times. We already look forward to next season!

Final voyage photo features long time Royal Star veteran and friend Ron Hobson who picked off this dandy 35 pound class yellowtail on the trolling plug in the eleventh hour!
