Another week of summer and another week of fabulous fishing are in the books. Shasta Lake continues to pump out big beautiful Brown and Rainbow Trout. The fish ranged in size from 2 to 8 pounds. We also landed a few nice landed locked Kings the biggest going 24 inches.

All the fish are continuing to feed heavily on shad. I've been trolling plugs between 55 an 95 feet at speeds between 2 an 3.5 mph. These hard fighting drag ripping jumping fish have been a balst to catch. Bites and hook ups have been plentiful making limits pretty easy.
