Fish Report for 6-7-2024

The bite zone remained in the 2 to 15 foot zone

The lake held at 92 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been good. Bass anglers used Texas rigs, drop shot, Keitechs, and jerkbaits to land plenty of large and smallmouth. The bite zone remained in the 2 to 15 foot zone with angler targeting points and bluffs. Weightless Senko style baits also did plenty of damage. Striped bass fell for cut sardines, anchovies, and lugworms near the marina. Boat anglers used umbrella rigs in 25 feet of water over main lake points to fool striped bass. Catfish fell for chicken liver, dip bait, and cut baits, but the bite has not been great. The deeper channel to the west of the marina has been a good place to check for bigger whisker fish.
