Pit 3 down to the Pit 5 powerhouse is still fishing great. Some October Caddis are coming off in the upper reaches. Baetis are coming off in greater numbers. Bird's Nests in #14 & 16, Amberwing Prince Nymphs, and any and all of the Perdigons are working well. You can likewise get after it with your Euro rod with any of your favorite BWO nymphs. Be careful though, this can be a slippery river to wade. We recommend a wading staff when fishing the Pit.
Be aware that the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.

Iron Canyon Reservoir: This fishery generally fishes well during the winter months with very little pressure
