Fall Variety

Variety day did not disappoint delivering the full suite of fall classics from surface and bottom fishing. Ideally paced throughout the day we worked along the famous “ridge” hopscotching our way to a fine catch that included yellowfin tuna, dorado, wahoo, yellowtail, snappers, and various other incidentals. And while the afternoon weather and sea state wasn’t ideal the caliber of action completely negated the impact. A little rock and roll actually added an adventure element to the fun. Exhausting our time, and limits (almost), in the land of plenty we’ll scour the zone for a few wahoo one last time tomorrow before answering the call of the north. Photo today features one of my favorite Royal Star and Ventura County Anglers legend Rhanny Hufalar with his stunning, 60 pound class Wahoo coming over the rail!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
