Hard earned effort

Despite being hopeful for some night time action, ended up as a rather unproductive long cold night. Schools were non existent despite showing great signs in the late afternoon. We continued our quest at our search for the bigger grade fish. 50 mile move west proved to be the golden ticket. Shortly after sunrise we found what we were looking for. Most of our bites came of the aerial attack, but a few persistent anglers did engage in battle on the sardine and lures as well. Long day of fishing, lots of time at the rail, lots of heart breaks and mishaps, at the end it was well worth the hard earned effort. Tomorrow we will try a different area changing up the pace and scenery.
