9-21-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters
The crooked river has been fishing well. We have been having the best success nymphing with slim shadys, split case PMDs, scuds, jigged leeches and zebra midges. It is smart to have some PMD patterns in your box if you’ll be on the river early or late in the day. Dry-dropper setups are always fun on the crooked and hoppers, beetles, and small chubbies make great dries for these setups.
