Big Hungry
The Mission Belle called in with LIMITS of Dorado for their 12 passengers with lots of fishing time left! They are now on the hunt for other species.
New Lo-An returned this morning from a 1.5 day trip with 17 Bluefin, 4 Yellowtail, 8 Sheephead and 1 Lingcod for their 25 Anglers!
T-Bird came in this morning from a 1.5 day trip with LIMITS(34) of Dorado for their 17 Anglers!
Monday Afternoon Update:
The Daily Double returned from their AM 1/2 Day trip with 45 Rockfish, 11 Calico Bass (28 returned), 9 Sandbass, 1 Whitefish, and 1 Sheephead.

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
