Monday Afternoon Update:



The Daily Double returned from their AM 1/2 Day trip with 45 Rockfish, 11 Calico Bass (28 returned), 9 Sandbass, 1 Whitefish, and 1 Sheephead.

 

The Mission Belle's trip tomorrow  WILL RUN FOR SURE! Dorado fishing has been excellent, with Tuna and Yellowtail also being caught. Give us a call at 619-223-1627 or (BOOK HERE)

Oceanside 95 • 1.5 Day • 29 passengers • 2 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna 

Point Loma • Full Day • 18 passengers • 36 Dorado, 4 Yellowtail, 3 Bluefin Tuna

The T-Bird 1.5 day trip departing Sunday 8-27-23 is a DEFINITE GO! Trip price is $460 and includes your Mexican permit. (BOOK HERE)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
