Boy are they nice to have in close proximity. When the morning effort failed to produce a cooperative school of bigger bluefin we called an audible. A quick run across found us fast to the bottom enjoying a nice afternoon scratching at school size bluefin with a few nice yellows mixed in. It was a welcome change of pace. I can't say the same for the night effort. Still playing hard to get the bastards had us at our wits end come 02:00. Laying under us for 20 minutes or more at times not a single fish mustered the courage to take a bite. Maddening at a level almost impossible to describe. Fatigue and failure are not for the faint of heart. Bluefin fishing at its finest...
