Thursday Morning Update:

The New Lo-An returned from a 3 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (108) up to 150 pounds and 2 yellowtail for their 18 anglers.

The Success returned from a 3.5 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna, 23 Calico Bass and 2 Yellowtail.

Mission Belle • Full Day • 20 anglers • 10 Yellowtail, 8 Calico Bass, 8 Sculpin, 1 Lingcod

Point Loma • Full Day • 8 anglers • 9 Yellowtail, 8 Calico Bass, 8 Sculpin, 1 Lingcod

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip(Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
