Big Hungry
The Oceanside 95 called in with 20+ Bluefin Tuna so far for their 1.5 day trip. Check back later for a final count....
The New Lo-An called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for day one of their two day trip. Check back later for a final count....
The Mission Belle called in with 5 Dorado for their Full Day trip.
The Point Loma called in with 1 Dorado fand 3 Yellowtail or their Full Day trip.
The Primetime returned this morning from a 1.5 day trip with 30 Yellowtail (between 12 and 22 lbs) and 6 Bluefin Tuna (between 150 and 220 lbs) for their 4 Anglers.

The upcoming T-Bird trip departing Sunday night at 7 pm still has availability. This is an overnight trip and the price is $300 and includes the Mexican permit. THIS TRIP IS A WILL RUN! (BOOK HERE)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
