The Calico Bass fishing on the half day trips has been excellent! Bring your swim baits, jerk baits, surface irons or what ever your favorite lure is to catch them! The bite is hot!

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Fortune called in with 48 Bluefin Tuna (35 @ 140 - 275 lbs.) 63 Yellowtail (up to 40 lbs.) and 3 Yellowfin Tuna for 16 anglers on a 3 day charter. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 61 Calico Bass, 100 Calico Bass (Relessed), 18 Rockfish amd 2 Sheephead for 24 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with 94 Bluefin Tuna (23 of them are 120lb - 230lb) and 66 Yellowtail for their 3.5 Day Charter. 

Lucky B Sportfishing caught 6 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail on their Full Day trip for 3 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn caught 1 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail for 18 anglers on an overnight charter. 

The Dolphin AM caught 175 keeper Calico Bass, 100+ released Calico Bass, 1 Halibut, 15 Rockfish for 53 angler. 

The Islander is up to 61 Bluefin Tuna, 15 Yellowfin Tuna and 21 Yellowtail for their 3.5 day charter. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with 40 mixed Tuna for their 1.5 day charter.

The Dolphin called in with 210 Rockfish, 85 Calico Bass and 100 Calico Bass released, 15 Sandbass 1 Sheephead and 1 Yellowtail for ther Fullday charter with 21 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 11 Yellowtail and 2 Dorado for their Fullday trip with 28 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with 82 Bluefin Tuna (13 @ 110-170lbs) and 32 Yellowtail on their 3.5 day trip.

The Pacific Dawn returned this morning with 18 Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowfin Tuna for 18 anglers on their 2.5 day charter. 

The Condor returned this morning with 12 Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowfin Tuna for 26 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
