Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Mustang caught 9 Bluefin on their Overnight rip for 13 anglers.

The Dolphin 1/2 AM caught 209 Assorted Rockfish for 38 anglers.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS (30) of Bluefin Tuna for 15 anglers on day 1 of their 2.5 day trip.

The Pacific Dawn is up to 44 Bluefin Tuna (19 @ 90 to 180 lbs.) for their 3 day charter 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (150) of Bluefin Tuna for 25 anglers on a 3 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with LIMITS (26) of Bluefin Tuna for 13 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.

The Liberty called in with 1 Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowtail for 40 anglers on their full day trip.

The Mustang called in with 4 Yellowtail for 11 anglers on their overnight trip. 

The Dolphin Am trip caught 305 Rockfish for 33 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS (24) of Bluefin Tuna (15 @ 90 to 180 lbs.) for 12 anglers on day 1 of their 3 day charter. 

The Condor is returning this morning with 64 Bluefin Tuna (up to 255lbs) for 17 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Islander returned this morning with LIMITS (54) of Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowtail for 27 anglers for a 1.5 day trip. 

The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (72) of Bluefin Tuna for 18 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Tomahawk returned this morning with 52 Bluefin Tuna (18 @ 60 - 150 lbs. 1@ 190 lbs. and 1 @ 255 lbs.) for 25 anglers on a 2 day trip.
