Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin PM trip had 17 calico bass, 20 rockfish, and 100 calico bass released.

The Dolphin AM trip had 91 rockfish for 13 anglers.

The Liberty caught 80 Yellowfin Tuna ( 20 - 30lbs) on their Full Day trip for 38 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with 19 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowfin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 35 anglers.

The Mustang called in with 31 yellowfin and 5 bluefin  on an overnight trip with 8 anglers.

The Fortune returned this morning with 40 Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowtail for 12 anglers for their 2.5 day charter.

The Dolphin PM trip had 10 Sheephead, 4 Whitefish, 2 Calico Bass and 42 Rockfish for 33 anglers

The Dolphin AM trip had 127 rockfish for 55 anglers.

The Mustang called in with 37 Bluefin Tuna  from 30-80 lbs and 1 yellowfin tuna on their overnight trip for their 30 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (46) of Bluefin Tuna and 23 Yellowfin Tuna for 23 anglers on a 1.5 day charter. 

The Tomahawk returned this morning with 39 Bluefin Tuna for 24 anglers on a 2.5 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with 61 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 150 lbs.) on their 3 day charter with 14 anglers. 

The Pacific Dawn is returning this morning with 29 Bluefin Tuna (6 over 100 lbs.) for their private 1.5 day charter. 

The Condor is returning this morning with 65 Bluefin Tuna (up to 183 lbs.) for their 2 day trip with 31 anglers.
