Hot hand

Borrowing wisdom offered in the old baseball classic Bull Durham Captain Alex Natipadab stayed at the helm continuing to get it done with a hot hand. “Never ____ with a winning streak” goes the quote. So we didn’t. And it paid dividends in the form of a fine start on fantastic grade, 60-140 pound bluefin that were eager to bite right out of the gates. A good start under our belts, and ideal foundation in the RSW tanks, set up a quick move seeking variety and daytime yellowtail action tomorrow morning before returning to the bluefin zone for round two come nightfall. Beautiful weather compliments the effort adding that one element of perfection that Mother Nature commands.

Photo today features second generation Royal Star veteran Emma Kurata with a fine example of the stellar grade bluefin landed in tonight’s opening rounds.
