The Crooked River has been fishing well

The Crooked River has been fishing well. Nymphing remains consistent and we have been liking a variety of caddis, two-bits, scuds,  jigged leeches, rainbow warriors and san juans. Dry-dropper setups can be very fun on the crooked and small chubbies and terrestrials should be utilized as the dry for these setups. Caddis hatches have been thick in the evenings so having a good selection of dries is a good idea. Swinging around a thin mint or similar small bugger is also a fun and effective way to target some fish on the crooked.
