Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 10 Rockfish for 27 anglers.

The Condor called in with limits(18) of Bluefin tuna and 7 Yellowfin tuna between 20-35lbs on day 1 of their 2 day trip with 9 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 5 bluefin and 2 bonita for 40 anglers on a full day trip.

Lucky B caught 6 Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowfin Tuna on their Full Day trip for 3 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 211 Rockfish (assorted) for their AM half day trip. 

The Pacific Queen called in with 75 Bluefin Tuna (26 @ 90 to 150 lbs.) 17 Yellowfin Tuna and 8 Yellowtail for 24 anglers so far on their 3 day trip.

The Dolphin 1/2 day AM caught 154 Rockfish for 24 anglers 

The Dolphin 1/2 day PM caught 35 Rockfish, 5 Sand Bass, 1 Calico Bass, and 1 SheepHead for 22 anglers. 

The Liberty caught 7 Yellowfin Tuna and 2 Bluefin Tuna for 31 anglers on their full day trip. Still fishing
