Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Liberty called in with 41 Bluefin Tuna and 21 Yellowfin Tuna for 40 anglers in their Fullday day trip.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 169 Rockfish for 56 anglers.

The Dolphin Pm trip caught 1 Whitefish, 49 Rockfish and 1 Lingcod for their 26 anglers.

The Condor returned this morning with 40 Bluefin Tuna (up to 150lbs) for 24 anglers on their 3.5 day trip.

The Islander returned this morning with 20 Bluefin Tuna ( 30 - 110lbs) for 28 anglers on their 2 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with 45 Bluefin Tuna (30 - 100lbs) and 6 Yellowfin Tuna for 15 anglers on their 2.5 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 21 Yellowfin Tuna and 14 Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip with 34 anglers.
