Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin 1/2 Day AM caught 352 Rockfish for 52 anglers. 

The Dolphin 1/2 Day PM caught 25 Sand Bass and 10 Rockfish for 27 anglers.

The Lucky B called in with 6 Bluefin Tuna (40lb) for 6 anglers on their Full Day trip.

The Fortune called in from their 1.5 Day trip with 10 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Bonito for 16 anglers. 

The Liberty Full Day caught 44 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for 39 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with 93 Bluefin Tuna (15 between 130 to 160 lbs.) for 23 anglers on a 3 day trip. They also posted their open party schedule for April, May and June of 2024!

The Islander has 50 Bluefin Tuna (10 over 100 lbs. and the rest are between 25 and 60 lbs.) so far on day 3 of their 3 day trip.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 57 Rockfish, 1 Lingcod, 2 Sheephead and 2 Sculpin for 26 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 205 mixed Rockfish for 36 anglers.

The Liberty caught 32 Bluefin on their Full Day trip for 40 anglers.

The Condor called in with 25 Bluefin Tuna (20-80lbs) on their Overnight trip for 37 anglers. Still Fishing!

The Pegasus returned this morning with 31 Bluefin Tuna for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day charter. 

The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (38) of Bluefin Tuna for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.
