The lake rose to 90 percent of capacity, and fishing remained good. Bass went for Ned rigs, jigs, and Senkos in 10 to 20 feet of water. Crankbaits and jigs fooled many of the bigger bass. Walking baits and poppers also scored bites before 9am. Crappie bit small live minnows and crappie jigs near the marina. Anglers also reported finding schools near submerged bushes throughout the lake. Catfish anglers used chicken liver, sardines, and Triple S dip bait on the Carolina rig.
