Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Liberty called in with 20 Bluefin Tuna most of them in the 20 to 30 pounds range and he had a few up to 80 pounds for their Fullday trip with 23 anglers.

The Dolphin AM caught 315 Rockfish for 38 Anglers.

The Dolphin PM caught 55 Rockfish, 3 Sheepshead, 3 Calico for 23 Anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 26 Bluefin Tuna (50lbs to 80lbs) for 17 anglers on their Overnight trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 20 Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowfin Tuna for 37 anglers on a 1.5 day private charter. 

The Condor is returning this morning with 1 Bluefin Tuna (80 lbs.) for 26 anglers on a 1.5 day trip
