The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.
The weather looks amazing with week, so this is your chance to get on the boats with light loads and few tangles.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Pegasus called in with Limits of Bluefin (90) for their 3 day trip with 15 anglers.

The Condor returned this morning with 23 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 90 lbs.) for 26 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 30 Bluefin Tuna for 23 anglers on a 3 day trip.
