Shasta is fishing fantastic

The Fly Shop
Shasta is fishing fantastic. The spotties are eating shad in relatively shallow water. The shad Float 'n Fly about six feet below your indicator is just about perfect. Finding fish is the trick, they can be spread out and if you aren't catching fish, you should be moving. Look for bait balls, and grab your streamer rod. A sinking line with a shad streamer will be your go-to club in this instance. As we head into the second week of warming weather you would be crazy not to have a popper rod set up. Just sayin'.
