Releases from Lake Britton are now down to 328 CFS which is a very good flow for this section of the river. The river has some color, but is fishing pretty well up in that section. Below the Pit 4 dam it remains high. The gage at the Fenders Ferry bridge show that it continues to be somewhat dirty on the low end at least. Highsticking a TJ Hooker or Rubberlegs, or on a Euronymph rod, is a great way to catch a ton of fish. Throwing a Salmonfly dry can also bring some fish up to eat. Be careful, though! This can be a slippery river to wade.
As always, the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.
