Sunday Report

  • The Tribute returned from their 2 Day charter with 12 Bluefin weighing between 80 to 150 pounds and 194 assorted rockfish for their group of 22 anglers. The Tribute is available for a 1.5 Day trip departing this Tuesday.

  • The Sea Watch wrapped up their Full Day with 3 Bluefin weighing between 140 to 180 pounds. Captain Ryan's recommended rig for the day is a 100# outfit fishing the sinker rig with an 8-12 oz torpedo and a 2/0 to 4/0 hook. The Sea Watch is a definite run tomorrow with plenty of openings!

  • The San Diego ended their Full Day with 6 Bluefin tuna for their 33 anglers. Their fish weighed between 100 to 180 pounds and Captain Matt recommended at minimum 80# line. He also added that if you are coming out soon to NOT use heavy night time leaders on your jigs. He noticed that a lot of the jigs equipped with swivels and crimps were not getting bit and those who were tying heavy fluoro straight to their jigs did much better.

  • The Highliner wrapped up their 2.5 Day with 24 Bluefin, 5 Yellowtail, 3 Lingcod and 170 assorted rockfish for their 22 anglers.
