The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.
The weather looks amazing with week, so this is your chance to get on the boats with light loads and few tangles.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Condor called in with 3 Bluefin for thier 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin PM trip had 47 rockfish, 2 sculpin, 13 calico bass (30 released), 1 lingcod, 1 whitefish, and 4 sheephead for 19 anglers.

The Tomahawk caught 12 Bluefin Tuna (80-100lbs) on their 2 day trip for 29 anglers.

The Liberty caught 5 Bluefin Tuna (1 @ 150lbs) on their Full Day Trip for 39 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 101 Mixed Rockfish and 37 Red Vermilion Rockfish for 46 anglers.

The Fortune returned this morning with 11 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 100 lbs.) for 18 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 15 Bluefin Tuna for 28 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with 8 Bluefin (70 to 100 lbs.) for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Liberty called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (150-180lbs) for 36 anglers on their full day trip.

The Condor called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna for 7 anglers on their Overnight trip.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 281 Rockfish for 48 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 32 Rockfish for 48 anglers.
