The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.
The weather looks amazing with week, so this is your chance to get on the boats with light loads and few tangles.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Tomahawk called in with 9 Bluefin Tuna (50-100lbs) for 29 anglers on their 2 day trip. 

The Pegasus called in with 8 Bluefin Tuna (70-100lbs) for 19 anglers on their 2 day trip. 

The Liberty called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (150-180lbs) for 36 anglers on their full day trip.

The Condor called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna for 7 anglers on their Overnight trip.

The Fortune called in with 11 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 100 lbs.) for 18 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 281 Rockfish for 48 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 32 Rockfish for 48 anglers.

The Dolphin 1/2 PM caught 20 Rockfish, 11 Calico Bass/ 25 Calico Bass Released, 2 Sculpin, 5 Sheephead for 7 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 20 Yellowtail and saw a good sign of bigger Bluefin Tuna. Captain is recommending bringing a 80lb outfit.

The Pegasus called in with 11 Bluefin Tuna for 19 anglers on their Overnight trip.

The Dolphin AM trip caught LIMITS of Rockfish (130) for 13 anglers.

The Searcher caught 58 Bluefin Tuna and 20 Yellowtail on their 2.5 Day Trip for 17 anglers.

The Tomahawk returned with 51 of Bluefin Tuna (80-100lbs) for 17 anglers on their 2-day trip.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 96 Bluefin Tuna (70 - 100 lbs.) and 38 Yellowtail for 23 anglers on a 3 Day trip.
