Donner Lake has been picking up for anglers looking to troll
5-18-2023
Mountain Hardware & Sports
Donner Lake has been picking up for anglers looking to troll. Some good size lake trout are being caught out in the deep water in the early mornings. Anglers trolling are having success with Lyman Lures and Rapalas in 80 to 120 feet of water. Shore anglers no longer have limited access due to the heavy winter, but the bite for rainbow trout along the shore is slow. Donner Lake is at 86% capacity.
